Site Supervisors:
Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, Christian housing ministry that builds modest, affordable homes with hardworking, low income families in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties, New Jersey. We have built over 43 homes to date.
The Construction Site Supervisor leads on-site residential home construction using many volunteers and some staff. Responsible for safe and productive building including project schedule, cost management, materials, tools and equipment achieving daily goals through effective organization and management of volunteers. Point of contact for suppliers, subcontractors and inspectors.
Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal and team skills as well as residential construction field experience....principles, practices and safety. Will understand and interpret construction documentation including schedules, drawings, installation instructions, codes and permits. Previous experience managing volunteers is very desirable. Must have some flexibility with work schedules including some Saturdays. Flexibility to work at sites in both Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. Must embrace our Habitat for Humanity mission, values and practices.

Assistant Site Supervisors:
The Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is in need of assistant construction site supervisors to help us continue our mission in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. This is a leadership role at our current and future building sites in Franklin and Kingwood Townships and in Lambertville, NJ. These assistant supervisors will help lead Habitat construction volunteers and workers in safe, simple, modest residential construction. They will also assure materials, tools and equipment are available and organized for daily tasks.
The Assistant Site Supervisor is a part time position, 16 to 20 hours per week, with compensation of $15 – 16 per hour.
Preferred candidates will have some previous, successful home construction experience and excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, they will embrace the mission and values of Habitat for Humanity. The work schedules will require some flexibility including availability to work some Saturdays.
