Get Involved

We love our volunteers!

Volunteers are our lifeblood.  Habitat for Humanity was founded on the concept of providing decent, affordable homes through the use of volunteers.  That idea has expanded to include a variety of areas where volunteers can get involved and make a dramatic difference in the lives of our homeowners and our community.  We have a high need for creative, imaginative, energetic, compassionate people in all phases of our ministry.  When most people think about volunteering with Habitat, the image that comes to mind is building homes.  No doubt, construction is the most visible part of our mission, but we have so many more ways for you to give your time and talent.

Non-Construction Volunteer Opportunities

It takes more than a hammer and nails to eliminate the problem of substandard housing.  In order to maximize the donations that we receive, we are a leanly staffed organization that relies on talented volunteers.  We are always in need of help in our office, at the worksite, at our fundraising events, and in countless other ways.  We realize your time is precious, and we’re always happy to work with you to find the best fit for you and the best use of your valuable time.
