much more to offer. And on a cruise vacation, you have the
opportunity to see it all. Explore the underwater world or

Bring-A-Friend Day

students in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties, is looking for new
recruits, particularly of the freshman or sophomore classes. The
Youth Council provides superb leadership opportunities in a
well-known international non-profit organization. Members will
get the chance to organize and participate in Build Days, learn
the in’s-and-out’s of public relations, and, most importantly,
help to plan and execute fundraisers to finance the construction
of local low-income housing. If you would like to learn more
about the Youth Council and Habitat for Humanity, this meeting
will be the PERFECT introduction.

Women Build Day…May 10,
2008
Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is delighted to announce
that our tenth Women Build Work Day will be held on May 10th,
2008 as a participating affiliate in the "National Women
Build Week". This day will contribute to our funding of the
first RVHFH Women Build house located in Franklin Township
(Somerset). We must raise $100,000 to build the house!
Our first workday toward this goal raised almost $12,000!
In celebration of the compassion,
dedication, talents and abilities of women from all walks of
life, Habitat for Humanity International and Lowes have declared
the week preceding Mother’s Day as “National Women Build Week”.
We are joining this exciting initiative designed to
highlight our volunteer’s accomplishments, and to commemorate
the partnership between Lowe’s and Habitat’s Women Build
program.
