Women Build Day…May 10, 2008
Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is delighted to announce that our tenth Women Build Work Day will be held on May 10th, 2008 as a participating affiliate in the "National Women Build Week". This day will contribute to our funding of the first RVHFH Women Build house located in Franklin Township (Somerset). We must raise $100,000 to build the house! Our first workday toward this goal raised almost $12,000!

In celebration of the compassion, dedication, talents and abilities of women from all walks of life, Habitat for Humanity International and Lowes have declared the week preceding Mother’s Day as “National Women Build Week”. We are joining this exciting initiative designed to highlight our volunteer’s accomplishments, and to commemorate the partnership between Lowe’s and Habitat’s Women Build program.
